ASAP and its programs rely solely on the charitable contributions of foundations, businesses and private individuals. ASAP is not a tax exempt 501(c)(3) charity at this time. However, gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law since the Oregon Humane Society, well-respected for prudent financial management, serves as our fiscal agent.

Any contribution, no matter how small or large, will save the lives of our community’s cats and dogs. Our current focus is on our highly successful Spay & Save program, a low-cost spay/neuter program that serves cat owners in need of financial assistance, as well as people who feed stray or feral cats. The program has altered more than 65,000 cats in six years since its launch in February 2010, and has decreased the number of cats entering Portland Metro area shelters from the public by 38%.

You can either mail a contribution to the Animal Shelter Alliance of Portland c/o Oregon Humane Society at 1067 NE Columbia Blvd, Portland, OR 97211 – checks payable to the Oregon Humane Society – ASAP Fund. Or, you can DONATE HERE

Already have a favorite shelter, rescue or other animal welfare organization? We encourage donations to any other Portland/Vancouver based organization helping animals and their people.

If you’re looking to make an impact and better the lives of pets & their people in our community, Petopia is the perfect place for you to make a difference while making a living.
